Using This Website

  • General information: our guides and pages explain SEO in general terms. They aren’t professional advice for your specific situation.
  • Accuracy: we try to keep everything accurate and current, but we can’t promise it always is.
  • No guaranteed results: nothing on this website guarantees a ranking, traffic, enquiry or sale.
  • Examples: work labelled fictional, illustrative or sample shows our approach, not results for real clients.
  • Acceptable use: don’t use the website unlawfully, send false or harmful information through our forms, or try to disrupt it.
  • Our content: the text, design and logo belong to SEO Company Dublin. You can share links to our pages, but you may not copy our content for commercial use without written permission.
  • Other websites: we link to other websites, but we don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content.

Our Services

Quotes and agreement

Sending a form or message doesn’t create a contract. A contract starts when you accept our written proposal or quote by email and we confirm it. The proposal sets out the work, price and timing. If it differs from these terms, the proposal applies to that work.

Prices and payment

  • Our plans and prices are on our Pricing page.
  • Your written quote confirms the final price, including any VAT that applies.
  • Payment timing is set out in your quote or invoice.
  • For business clients, the European Communities (Late Payment in Commercial Transactions) Regulations 2012 apply to late payments.

Monthly plans and cancellation

  • Monthly plans run on a 30-day rolling basis.
  • You or we can end a monthly plan by giving 30 days’ notice by email.
  • You pay for the work and fees up to the end of the notice period.
  • If you cancel one-off work after it starts, you pay for the work completed up to that point.

What we do

  • We carry out the work with due skill, care and diligence.
  • We follow Google’s published guidelines and never buy links for you.
  • We explain what we change and why.
  • We keep your business information confidential.

What you do

  • Give us accurate information and the access we need, on time.
  • Confirm you have the right to use any text, images or logos you send us.
  • Review and approve work when we ask.
  • Keep control of your own accounts, and keep backups of your website.

Results and third parties

SEO depends on things outside our control, including Google’s systems, your competitors and your website’s history. We can’t guarantee rankings or results. We aren’t responsible for changes made by Google or other platforms, problems caused by earlier work by others, or outages at your hosting provider.

Ownership of work

Once you have paid in full, you own the content and pages we create specifically for you. We keep ownership of our own tools, templates and methods. We may describe the type of work we did for you, without confidential details, unless you ask us not to.

Data protection

If we handle personal data on your behalf, such as data in your analytics or website, we act as your processor under GDPR Article 28. We will sign a data processing agreement with you on request. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your own data.

Our liability

For business clients, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service concerned in the three months before the claim. We aren’t liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit or lost business. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else Irish law doesn’t allow us to limit.

If You Are a Consumer

Most of our clients are businesses. If you buy from us as a consumer, outside your trade or profession, the Consumer Rights Act 2022 gives you extra rights:

  • You can cancel within 14 days of making the contract, because we agree it at a distance.
  • If you ask us to start work within those 14 days and then cancel, you pay a fair amount for the work already done.
  • If we complete the service within the 14 days at your request, and you have acknowledged this, you lose the right to cancel.
  • Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission explains them.

Complaints

If something goes wrong, email nissa@seocompanydublin.com. We’ll acknowledge your complaint and try to resolve it fairly and quickly.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts deal with any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live. Before going to court, we’re open to resolving disputes through mediation.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes don’t affect work already agreed, unless we both agree in writing.
